The innovative FRDA tandem dryers from BOGE combine two tried-and-tested drying methods – refrigerant and adsorption drying. This tandem technology ensures that variable yet stable pressure dew points of -70° C to + 3° C are available at all times at the dryer outlet. In addition, FRDA offers much better efficiency values than other compressed air drying methods because it uses less regeneration air, desiccant and energy. This outstanding energy efficiency also means that the dryers are easy to use and extremely flexible: with the optional bypass line, dew points above zero in summer and below zero in winter can be achieved. So depending on the season, the FRDA can be used purely as a refrigerant dryer or “in tandem” with the adsorption dryer.
